Dynamic sites can allow customers to add themselves to a mailing list for further information, or fill in on screen forms to send you their details, requirements and interests. Forms can be written that check as the customer proceeds and help can be offered on the way, e.g., the customer could be reminded to enter their postcode.

Forms can also be written that change as the customer makes choices, e.g. when the customer selects motorbike insurance, the form doesn't request whether the vehicle is a soft top.

The site can also respond immediately to the customer, e.g. automatically calculating the VAT payment for a product.
